It is always advisable to take the bunny to a vet in you notice something not quite right, as soon as possible. Because by the time the rabbit is really sick you've lessened his chance of survival and the vet bill will be the same.

In my experience a vet trip would cost me between $85.00 and $130.00 including the critical care and any medication and Tax. Other vets have charged a lot more for a lot less help. So make sure you call a head and ask. My two vets charge around $50.00 an hour per visit and you're never there over an hour.

I go to the Arnold Crescent animal clinic in Richmond hill, Ontario, North of Toronto Or the Amherst Veterinary Hospital in Scarborough. It depends on who can see my bunny the quickest. I normally take a rabbit when I know it needs a prescription that requires a vet.
