Chocolate Holland lops bred last week.
If all goes well babies should be available the Middle of April.
The two fuzzy lops I had
due... both had stuck litters so I may not breed again until the end of
March, beginning of April
(for Convention entries in the fall).

Hares Available
Care Hares are retired show bunnies that have been well handled and are generally socialized.
Care Hares are ideal for anybody who wants a rabbit that will sit on their lap to be petted.
Most show rabbits are used to being handled, brushed, transported, and carried around.
This is a much better choice for most pet owners rather than getting a junior or baby bunny.
It's an ideal choice for anyone "Physically Challenged" or turning Senior citizen.
If your able to feed, water and clean the rabbits cage or have someone living
with you that is will to do it, then a Care Hare maybe a good pet option for you.
I would suggest reading the information section of this website to get an idea what it's like living with a rabbit.

Bunnies
at work
My Daughter came home from school upset because
the school taught the kids about endangered species.
She was really upset about poachers, pollution and people chopping down the rain forest.
I remembered this same lesson taught in schools when I was a kid.
It is an important lesson and reaches kids at an early age. However I do criticize
this approach because it does not empower children but quite the opposite. My daughter felt very helpless. So although it teaches awareness it also teaches
children to become passive about things we shouldn't be passive about.
So we are going to be selling some bunnies to raise money to save tigers, feed the poor, buy an acre of rain forest etc.
And more importantly teach a child that she can make a difference.
Bunnies will start to become available Feb and March 2007.
