Fuzzy Lop Kit Types

When I first started breeding fuzzy lops most of my kits looked like the photos above.
Some kits did well on the show table and some did not. This kit is long and narrow in body compared to the kits I get now. At birth she doesn't have the bulky neck or wide short head. This kit did become a good type fuzzy lop. I gave her to my friend Delys Gani who used her for breeding. Mystic produced a really nice tort buck that has a bunch of legs and BOB wins, Meredith is still showing him.

The 4 day old kit (named Sparta) above appears to be a solid chinchilla and is out of Corbin's Anna and BT's Super Sport. He is a short, chunky, and wide guy. I'm pretty sure he'll make a nice show bunny.

Above is a comparison of  my current fuzzy lop kit's head to my old style fuzzy lop's head.
Above is the same kit, I named him Sparta, he's now 4 weeks old.
Above is Sparta, he's now 7 weeks old, Dec 2008. He's very  smooth and a nice little show bunny. He should finish around 3.8 to 4 pounds. He's going to Meredith at the PA convention in Feb. I doubt he'll still be in coat by then.
