The fuzzy lop standards are very clear that Fuzzy lop ears are supposed to be ½ to 1 inch below the jaw
line.
The trend in fuzzy lops are to breed ear length as short as possible,
resulting in many fuzzy lops with ears at the jaw line or not even
reaching the jaw line.
The Fuzzy lop standard also says the ears must balance with the
head.
If ears are under the 1/2 below the jaw line is that considered not
balancing with the head?

Holland lops allow a maximum 1 inch below the jaw
line.
It doesn't mention how short an ear is allowed to be. |

Slipped crown, and
crown related problems (like folded ears) all fall under EARS for a
total of 1-10 points.
Fuzzy lop standards don't have section for Crown.
The crown is mentioned very little in the fuzzy lop
standards. |
A Holland lop EARS are 1-10 points and they have an additional 1-8
points for CROWN.
This totals 18 points awarded for crown and ears.

The Fuzzy lop head when viewed from the side is supposed to be round with a flat face and then
continue to round.

Holland lops face
should round at the top of the head, flattens at the eyes and muzzle then
continues to round (many HL judges call this curvature to the head).
Some Holland lop breeders are concerned that many of the top placing
Holland lops are showing flat fuzzy lop type faces and a lack of
curvature.

determines how open the ear is, the standard calls for the ear to be fully open. |
